Digitalization of the drug way

Introduction and purpose: Technological innovations have become an integral part of
our daily life, such as wearable and information technologies, virtual reality and the In-
ternet are things that contribute to the transformation of business and operations in
healthcare.
Content presentation: The sustainability and quality of functioning of health systems are
an important indicator of the general quality of life of the population. Patient-centered
healthcare requires the introduction of new technologies and a high degree of digiti-
zation of data and processes. In this sense, it is necessary to digitize healthcare sys-
tems, which requires replacing existing ways of working with digital technologies. In-
troducing changes in healthcare requires management to take an active role in the
digitization process. Management of change in healthcare faces a number of challeng-
es in implementing a process approach. A proper assessment of the current situation
and the needs required by the process change is extremely important when making
a decision to implement new processes. For the successful introduction of changes, it
is necessary to involve experts, educate health personnel, adopt clear strategic goals
with an analysis of the plan and activities. Teamwork, staff motivation and clear com-
munication are prerequisites for effective change management and project success.
The advantages of such an approach ensure systematic monitoring and management
of changes and the challenges they bring. The aim of the paper is to present how dig-
italization of the health system, with the use of advanced technologies, can play a sig-
nificant role in providing personalized health care, which contributes to better man-
agement of health resources with better treatment outcomes. The implementation of

have a sustainable and high-quality patient-centered health system.
Conclusions: Digitization of the drug path represents a model that would enable the
health system to fully and transparently monitor the consumption of drugs as the most
common medical intervention of all modern health systems in the world.
