As the level of education increased, the proportion of people who rated their
oral health as moderate gradually decreased (Figure 3), compared with 4% in
the group of people with tertiary education; the difference was statistically sig-
nificant (test CCP, p=0.007).

Residents in urban environments rated their oral health positively in
67.4% of cases, while this proportion was 63.1% in suburban areas and 52.8% in
rural environments. The differences were statistically significant (χ test=19.48,

p=0.001). Conversely, the proportion of people with poor self-rated oral health
was highest in rural environments (10.4%), followed by suburban environments
(7.7%) and lowest in urban environments (4.5%).
