This is a panel discussion about the future of mathematical publishing.
We are currently in a transition period where classical publishing models
for scientific results are drastically changing. Gold, diamond or green
open access models or Subscribe-To-Open models are discussed and
implemented, national consortia rather than libraries are financing
the access to scientific literature. The EU is pushing for open access
publishing via its plan S.
Where is the future in scientific publishing in mathematics? Why are
new journals founding every day? How can we control the quality of the
published results? Who is going to finance all these publications?
