Luisa Antoni (musikluis1@gmail.com)
was born in Trieste, where she graduated from the Trieste Conservatory in
piano and from the University of Trieste in philosophy. After graduating
she enrolled in master’s and doctoral studies at the University of Ljublja-
na. Her doctoral thesis on musical aesthetics was published in Italian and
Slovene versions by the publishers Trauben (Turin) and Mladika (Trieste).
Her articles and essays on the musical history of Trieste, Gorizia, Istria and
Dalmatia have been published in various collections, books and academ-
ic journals in various languages. She intensified her studies of harpsichord,
pianoforte and composition. She is employed as a reporter for the national
broadcasting station RTV Slovenija in the Koper-Capodistria regional cen-

Nada Bezić (nada.bezic@zg.t-com.hr)
has since 1988 been the head of the library in the Croatian Music Insti-
tute (CMI) in Zagreb. She got her Ph.D. in musicology in 2011 at the Music
Academy in Zagreb, and graduated in librarianship at the Faculty of Phi-
losophy in Zagreb. Her main fields of research are the history of the CMI,
and the musical life and musical topography of Zagreb in the 19th and 20th
centuries.

Tina Bohak Adam (Tina.BohakAdam@ag.uni-lj.si)
is Assistant Professor in the Department of Music Education at the Uni-
versity of Ljubljana, Academy of Music. In her research, she focuses on the
history of opera and concert performance and the introduction of ICT to
education-related academic programmes. She is the author scientific and
technical articles and monographs Julij Betetto (1885–1963) – nestor opernih
in koncertnih pevcev [“Julij Betetto (1885–1963) – Nestor of Opera and Con-
cert Singers”] (2015) and Hočem postati pevka – portret koncertne pevke, al-
tistke Marije Bitenc Samec [“I Want to Become a Singer – a portrait of con-
cert singer, alto Marija Bitenc Samec”] (2018).

Ivan Florjanc (ivan.florjanc@ag.uni-lj.si)
is a composer and musicologist. He lives in Ljubljana. Since 1998 he has
been a full professor of vocal and organ composition, musical phrasing and
composition techniques and the semiotics of polyphony at the University
of Ljubljana Academy of Music, where he is currently also the Vice Dean of
Studies. For a number of years (until 2003) he was full professor of compo-
sition and theoretical subjects at the Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra in
