Branka Rotar Pance (branka.rotar-pance@ag.uni-lj.si)
is an Associate Professor and head of the Department of Music Education
at the Academy of Music (University of Ljubljana). She gives lectures on un-
dergraduate and postgraduate level music didactic and supervises doctoral
students. Her research interests lie in the different fields of music education,
arts and cultural education, working with gifted students, lifelong learning
of music teachers and the history of Slovenian music pedagogy. She is the
editor of The Journal of Music Education of the Academy of Music in Lju-
bljana. She presents her research findings on symposiums and conferences
and publish them in the scientific journals and monographs. She collabo-
rated in research projects of the University of Ljubljana and the Universi-
ty of Primorska.

Lana Šehović-Paćuka (lana_sehovic@yahoo.com)
graduated in Musicology at the Academy of Music, University of Saraje-
vo in 2006. She received her MA in 2010, and her PhD in 2014 (Musical
life in Sarajevo in the period of Austro-Hungarian rule). In February 2007
she was appointed Assistant in the field of Musicology in the Department
of Musicology and Ethnomusicology, as well as Collaborator in the Insti-
tute of Musicology at the Academy of Music. In June 2010 she was elected
Senior Assistant, and from 2015 Assistant Professor. In 2014 she was nom-
inated Editor-in-chief of the Journal for music culture Music, the only mu-
sicological journal in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In June 2016 she was elect-
ed ViceDean for Concert Activities of the Academy of Music in Sarajevo.
Lana has presented her scientific papers at symposiums organised by MS-
FBiH, IMS, ICTM in BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria and Hungary.
Since 2016 she is member of the RILM (Répertoire International de Littéra-
ture Musicale) National Committee for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Marjana Vajngerl (marjana.vajngerl@gmail.com)
attended the Prva gimnazija High School in Maribor and later the Piano
Department of the Music and Ballet High School in Maribor. She stud-
ied piano at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Tan-
ja Zrimšek. In 2018 she successfully completed her Master of Arts Degree
at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, with the thesis The Im-
portance of Janko Ravnik in the Slovene Piano Education. She was employed
