               celerated the corrosion of the carbonate bedrock and thus influenced the
               deepening and widening (flattening of the bottom) of the doline. The ef-
               ficient deepening of the doline was undoubtedly favoured by its location
               on the axis of the Raša Fault, where the carbonate rock in the bedrock is
               more fractured compared to the surrounding rock. Material transport in
               the northwestern part of the doline must have been considerable, at least
               in the initial phase of formation, as surface water created a well-shaped
