intensive population and settlement processes since the second half of
the 20th century, typical of the broader area of the (Slovene) Istria. The
authors observed changes in the spatial development of the aforementio-
ned settlements based on the boundaries of the built-up areas, which are
evident from aerial photographs taken in different years (1954, 1971, 1997
and 2020), as well as census data.
