The study practice in the first-cycle program takes place within publishing hous-
es, radio, television, and newspaper houses. In all these institutions, students are
trained for the profession of language consultants, guided by mentors from with-
in their workplace as well as a higher education teacher. Some students do intern-
ships at the University of Primorska Publishing house, where they are also trained
to work as editors and designers of printed matter.
