Niall O’Loughlin (n.oloughlin@lboro.ac.uk)
studied at the Universities of Edinburgh and Leicester and has specialised
in the 20th-century music of Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and Poland.
His book Novejša glasba v Sloveniji was published in Ljubljana in 2000.
His many articles have appeared in Musicological Annual, the proceedings
of Slovene Music Days, The Musical Times, Tempo, chapters in books and
in various editions of the New Grove Dictionaries of Music. In 2007 he was
elected Corresponding Member of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and
Arts.

Berthold Over (berthold_over@web.de)
ist Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität Mainz und wurde mit
einer Arbeit über die venezianischen Ospedali im 18. Jahrhundert promo-
viert. Bevor er im HERA-Projekt Music Migrations in the Early Modern
Age: the Meeting of the European East, West and South (MusMig) mitarbei-
tete (seit 2013), war er im von der Fritz Thyssen Stiftung finanzierten For-
schungsprojekt „Die Kantate als aristokratisches Ausdrucksmedium im
Rom der Händelzeit (ca. 1695–1715)“ tätig (2010–2013). Seine Forschungs-
interessen liegen hauptsächlich in der Kulturgeschichte der Musik im eu-
ropäischen Kontext. Außerdem beschäftigt er sich mit ökonomischen
Grundlagen der Musik, insbesondere mit Fokus auf den Münchner Hof.
Er hat unbekannte Autographe von Antonio Vivaldi und Georg Friedrich
Händel entdeckt.

Lana Paćuka (lana_sehovic@yahoo.com)
graduated in Musicology at the Academy of Music, University of Sarajevo
in 2006. She received her MA in 2010, and her PhD in 2014 (Musical life in
Sarajevo in the period of Austro-Hungarian rule). In February 2007 she was
appointed Assistant in the field of Musicology in the Department of Mu-
sicology and Ethnomusicology, as well as Collaborator in the Institute of
Musicology at the Academy of Music. In June 2010 she was elected Senior
Assistant, and from 2015 Assistant Professor. In 2014 she was nominated
Editor-in-chief of the Journal for music culture Music, the only musicolog-
ical journal in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In June 2016 she was elected Vice-
Dean for Concert Activities of the Academy of Music in Sarajevo. Lana has
presented her scientific papers at symposiums organised by MSFBiH, IMS,
ICTM in BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria and Hungary. Since 2016
she is member of the RILM (Répertoire International de Littérature Musi-
cale) National Committee for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
