Akademska samopodoba in akademsko odlašanje pred in med študijem na daljavo
learning, using a sample of 211 students from different faculties. The results
show that students reported lower academic self-esteem and higher academic
procrastination during distance learning, which are significantly associated
with each other. At the same time, students reported that they were less en-
gaged in the study process during distance learning, and there was also a de-
crease in students’ active participation in the study process. This is mostly at-
tributed to fatigue caused by working via videoconferencing platforms. The
analysis below showed a moderate negative correlation between academic
procrastination and attendance and a moderate negative correlation between
academic procrastination and activity during the study process. At the same
time, participants were unanimous in that, although they found it easier to
manage their time and had a good experience when using digital technology,
they found it tiring during their distance learning period.
