Advantages and Challenges of Distance Education:
Perspective of Students, Future Teachers

The pandemic, caused by COVID-19, led to the closure of educational institu-
tions in Slovenia and remote education was introduced in Slovenian schools.
The remote education has had a significant impact on various educational
stakeholders. In this paper, we present the results of the study which aimed to
identify student teachers’ experiences of remote learning. We wanted to iden-
tify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The paper is based
