Izvleček: Namen naše raziskave je bil preučiti poučevanje inštrumenta na daljavo v času
epidemije COVID-19 z vidika učiteljev glasbenih šol. Zanimalo nas je, kako uspešno so
se učitelji individualnega pouka spoprijeli z uporabo IKT pri učenju inštrumenta/petja
na daljavo. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 238 učiteljev nižjih glasbenih šol iz vseh slovenskih
regij. Rezultati so pokazali, da so se med procesom pouka na daljavo okrepili stiki med
učitelji in starši, povečala se je samostojnost učencev, aktivirali so se šolska vodstvena te-
lesa in sodelovanje med učitelji. Usposabljanje za nove načine pouka je povzročilo dvig
stopnje digitalnih kompetenc tako pri učiteljih kot tudi pri učencih. Najpogostejši mo-
del spletne učilnice je potekal prek videoklica Viber (34,1 %), se največkrat dopolnjeval z
videoposnetki igranja (76 %) in oblikoval z novimi učnimi strategijami (92 %). Prednost
takšnega poučevanja se je po mnenju učiteljev najbolj izkazala v povečani učni samore-
gulaciji, največje učne primanjkljaje pa v bodoče pričakujejo pri nastopanju, skupnem
muziciranju in produkciji tona. Iz raziskave lahko razberemo, da udeleženci kljub uspeš-
ni izvedbi pouka na daljavo ugotavljajo, da gre za manj kakovosten način poučevanja in-
štrumenta. Praktična vrednost izkustva je po mnenju učiteljev pridobitev preizkušenega
modela alternativnega poučevanja.

teaching musical instruments during covid-19 epidemic
Abstract: The purpose of our study was to examine the distance teaching of a musical in-
strument during the COVID-19 epidemic from the perspective of instrument/ vocal
teachers in music schools. We were interested in how successfully the method of face
to face learning worked with the use of ICT in distance learning. 238 teachers of prima-
ry music schools from all Slovenian regions participated in the research. The results of
the survey show that during the distance learning process, contacts between teachers
and parents were strengthened, student`s authonomy increased, school governing bod-
ies and cooperation between teachers were activated. The use of new teaching meth-
ods has led to an increase in digital literacy for both teachers and students. The most
common online classroom model took place via Viber video call (34,1%), was most often
supplemented with instrument playing videos (76%) and formed by new learning strat-
egies (92%). According to teachers, the advantage of such teaching is most evident in
the increased learning self-regulation, however the biggest learning deficits are expect-
ed in performance, ensemble music making and tone production. From the research we
can understand that the participants, despite the successful implementation of distance
learning, find that it is a lower quality way of teaching the instrument. The practical val-
