ZGODOVINSKI VPOGLED V POUK KITARE V SLOVENSKEM
GLASBENEM ŠOLSTVU

Izvleèek
Osrednji namen prispevka je predstaviti zgodovinski razvoj pouèevanja kitare v slovenskih
glasbenih šolah, hkrati pa doloèiti vlogo in ovrednotiti pomen pouèevanja kitare za slovensko
glasbeno pedagogiko. Kitara je na Slovenskem zelo razširjeno glasbilo, posebej v zadnjih
desetletjih se v regiji moèno dviguje kakovost in raven igranja ter pouèevanja kitare. Pred prvo
svetovno vojno kitare v slovenskih glasbenih šolah niso pouèevali, v èasu med obema vojnama pa se
je na našem ozemlju moèno okrepilo zanimanje za to glasbilo. Posledièno so se v tem obdobju
interaktivno pojavile prve glasbene šole, v katerih so sistematièno pouèevali kitaro, ter prva podjetja
za proizvodnjo in trgovanje s kitarami, leta 1925 pa je izšel prvi slovenski uèbenik za kitaro avtorja
Adolfa Gröbminga. Kmalu po koncu druge svetovne vojne je bil pouk kitare v slovenskih glasbenih
šolah ukinjen, izvajali so ga le v okviru maloštevilnih kulturno-umetniških društev in drugih
ljubiteljskih krogov. V šestdesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja se priène preporod slovenske kitaristike.
Zaradi velikega zanimanja za igranje in uèenje kitare, k èemur je gotovo pripomogla tudi velika
proizvodnja kitar v tovarni glasbil Melodija Mengeš, so pristojne šolske oblasti ponovno uvedle
pouk kitare v slovenske glasbene šole. To je spodbudilo izdajo novih slovenskih kitarskih zaèetnic
oziroma uèbenikov, ki so bili prilagojeni razvojnim standardom pouka kitare v slovenskih
glasbenih šolah in drugih ustanovah, kjer pouèujejo kitaro. Z intenzivnejšimi prizadevanji
slovenskih kitarskih pedagoških delavcev, s ciljem pribli ati kitaro evropskim standardom in
posledièno z uvedbo enotnih uènih naèrtov ter kasneje univerzitetnega študija (leta 1996), je
pouèevanje kitare na Slovenskem napredovalo od zaèetnih diletantskih poskusov, s prve polovice
prejšnjega stoletja, do kakovosti, ki smo ji prièe v sodobnosti.

Abstract
Historical Insight into Guitar Lessons in Slovenian Music Education
The basic purpose of the lecture is to present the historical development of teaching the guitar in
Slovenian music schools and to evaluate the role and meaning of teaching the guitar for Slovenian
music teaching. In Slovenia, the guitar is a very popular instrument; especially in the last decades,
the level and quality of playing and teaching have been increasing rapidly. Before the First World
War, the guitar was not taught at Slovenian music schools, while in the interwar period an interest in
the instrument grew strongly in the region. As a result, first music schools appeared that offered
systematic guitar education, first companies that produced and sold guitars were founded, and in
1925 the first Slovenian guitar method by Adolf Gröbming was published. Soon after World War II,
Slovenian music school stopped offering guitar lessons, which were now available only in a few
cultural and artistic societies and other amateur circles. The 1960s mark the rebirth of the Slovenian
guitaristics. Because of a great interest in playing and learning the guitar, which was also a
consequence of the mass production of guitars in the instrument factory Melodija Mengeš, school
authorities reintroduced the guitar in Slovenian music schools. This encouraged the publication of
new Slovenian guitar methods, which were adapted to the developmental standards of the guitar
class in Slovenian music schools and other institutions that offered guitar lessons. Great effort of
Slovenian guitar teachers, whose aim was to reach European standards, design a unified curriculum
and establish a university-level study of the guitar (in 1996), has yielded successful results, as the
guitar teaching in Slovenian progressed from dilettante beginnings in the first half of the previous
century to the high level we are witnessing today.
