Some Aspects of Research in Early Childhood Education
The field of educational research is very wide and diverse. In this context, some
subfields in the educational research have been developed, focusing on par-
ticular areas within education. One of this specific fields is the research of phe-
nomena in early childhood, which has, under the influence of Anglo-Saxon tra-
dition made a shift from the traditional positivist approach towards more con-
structivist approach In the paper we emphasise the particularities of the re-
search in early childhood research, and address ethics in research, approaches
in research and the data collection methods when doing the research within
the early childhood education
