Monitoring the Implementation of Physical Education in Distance
Learning from the Parents’ Perspective
The purpose of this paper is to investigate how parents of children attend-
ing grades 1 to 5 of elementary school observed physical education perfor-
mance during the first wave of the COVID-19 epidemic and whether there were
differences in physical education performance between the first and second
educational periods. Data were collected using a questionnaire answered by
355 parents or guardians from all 12 Slovenian regions. Parents reported that
