89.3 of teachers provided distance learning guidelines for all physical educa-
tion classes; that only 50 of children followed instructions in physical educa-
tion classes and the same number completed all set movement tasks; that the
most frequently chosen content was natural movement types and games; and
that the content for physical education classes was most frequently received
in writing as a description of physical activity tasks. In the event that distance
learning is revisited, we suggest that physical education classes be conducted
live via videoconference, as this is the only way to ensure that children receive
guided movement tasks.
